  • Enabling works Ė Area central (HS2)

    Current Projects

    In 2016, Fusion (a Ferrovial Agroman joint venture) was awarded the central section of HS2ís enabling works contracts. Along with the international expertise from the parent companies, Amey, (a subsidiary wholly owned by Ferrovial) will be supporting Fusion with delivery of the contract.

  • Crossrail C435: Farringdon Station

    Current Projects

    Crossrail is one of Europe's largest transport infrastructure projects. It is due to open in 2018 and will be named the Elizabeth line, after HM the Queen. Crossrail will transform rail transport by increasing central London capacity by 10% and cutting journey times across the City. The programme will support the equivalent of 55,000 full-time jobs and stimulate regeneration and economic growth. When the Elizabeth line opens in 2018 Farringdon station will be one of the busiest in the UK, connecting with Thameslink and the London Underground to provide links with outer London, the home counties, the City, Canary Wharf and three of Londonís five airports.

  • Thames Tideway Tunnel Ė Central Section

    Current Projects

    The Thames Tideway Tunnel is the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the UK water industry. It is essential to tackling overflows from London's Victorian sewers into the Thames, for at least the next 100 years. The project will create over 4,000 sustainable jobs and another 5,000 indirectly. It will also offer hundreds of local apprenticeships and work placements, leaving a lasting legacy in the heart of London.

  • Heathrow Q6 Framework Ė Lot 3 Delivery Integrator

    The Q6 capital works investment programme focuses on asset replacement, whilst ensuring diverse stakeholder demands from regulators and airlines are met to deliver customer value . Working in a congested, live environment at the world's second busiest airport, we are supporting HAL to operate within competing commercial, regulatory and technical challenges.

  • Northern Line Extension (NLE)

    Current Projects

    At the heart of Londonís largest redevelopment for over 300 years, the NLE represents a once in a lifetime opportunity to extend the Underground to Battersea, contributing to the regeneration of Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea areas. The extension will support the creation of around 24,000 new jobs, 18,000 homes and reduce journey times to the West End or City to less than 15 minutes.

We have delivered more than 25% of key projects worldwide and maintain 41% of Spainís network today.

  • A8 Belfast to Larne Dualling, Northern Ireland

    The A8 is a strategically significant European Route (E01) forming the principal route between Belfast and the Port of Larne (the second largest freight port in Northern Ireland). The completion of the A8 dual carriageway not only improves Northern Irelandís connectivity to Great Britain and Europe but it also ensures that the A8 is future proofed and retains the long-term viability of the port.

  • Eastern Bay Link

    Completed Projects

    The Eastern Bay Link connects Queens Gate and Ocean Way Roundabout, improving access and connections to Cardiff Bay and the Cardiff Central Enterprise Zone from the M4 to the east within the Cardiff City Region. We delivered a design and construction solution that reduced journey times, enhanced road safety and improved resilience of Cardiffís strategic road network.

  • Heathrow Post T5 Transfer Baggage Tunnel

    Completed Projects

    The Heathrow Post T5 Transfer Baggage Tunnel is a network of underground baggage tunnels and a major part of the Heathrow Connectivity Programme. The project included an automated baggage transfer system and buildings, with capacity to manage 3,000 bags per hour between Terminals 5C, 3 and 1. The tunnels operate a Destination Coded Vehicles track system, comprising 960 carts capable of transporting luggage at speeds of up to 32km/h.

  • Heathrow T2A

    Completed Projects

    Heathrow T2A was a high-profile project in challenging surroundings, with construction taking place within a live airport environment. Demonstrating success and best practice was vital on a project widely perceived as representative of the nation. T2A was the first airport terminal in the world to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, serving as an iconic gateway to Britain and helping to meet Heathrowís aspirations for the 21st century.

  • M8 / M73 / M74 Motorway Improvements

    Completed Projects

    We have upgraded this vital section of Scotlandís busiest motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, now connected by uninterrupted motorway for the first time in history. This link provides over 100,000 of Scotlandís daily travelling public with reliable journey times and improved safety. We have generated employment opportunities by creating over 1,000 construction jobs over the three-year contract, with 70% recruited locally.
