After Tideway Central's great performance at the Rightway Awards two weeks ago, this time it was Heathrow Q6 and the Northern Line Extension's (NLE) turn to score some wins, namely at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards. Heathrow Q6's Bravo Taxiway Realignment project won the Gold award and the prestigious Most Considerate Site award.

Pedro Roa, Project Manager, said:

"I am proud of this fantastic achievement, which I believe is the best ending for what was a very challenging project. It's a recognition of the whole team's effort during the 3 years the project lasted. Thanks everyone for your hard work."

The Northern Line Extension received the following awards: Kennington sites, Gold and Most Considerate Site Runner Up; Nine Elms, Gold; and Battersea Power Station, Silver.

Juan Martinez, FLO Tunnels Manager, said:

Ferrovial Agroman projects take wins at CCS awards"This year's awards are truly a testament to how each of our site teams is dedicated to improving the image of our industry, demonstrating the very highest standards of consideration towards the public, environment and workforce. I am very proud of our teams who continue to produce outstanding results year on year. Special mention for the Kennington team as they won the Most Considerate Site Runner Up -really deserved."

Ferrovial Agroman's works at Heathrow focus on asset replacement, whilst ensuring diverse stakeholder demands from regulators and airlines are met to deliver customer value. Working in a congested, live environment at the world's second busiest airport, we are supporting Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) to operate within competing commercial, regulatory and technical challenges.

The Northern Line Extension project, which is being delivered by the Ferrovial Agroman Laing O'Rourke JV,  is extending London Underground's Northern Line to Battersea, creating 24,000 jobs, 18,000 homes, and reducing journey times to the West End or City to less than 15 minutes.
