2019 Graduate H&S and Environmental Roles

Ferrovial Agroman is looking for H&S and Environmental Graduates to work on some of the most important Infrastructure projects happening in London today.

Ferrovial Agroman is looking for graduates to work on numerous infrastructure projects. You will assist on and in some cases be responsible for the day to day activities on a variety of major UK infrastructure projects.

2019 graduate intake will start between May & September 2018

Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy, promoting the company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors and other external suppliers.

  1. To support the development of a strong Health & Safety and Environmental focused culture on the project
  2. To assist in the development of consistent project Health & Safety and Environmental plans in line with the company and group policy
  3. To become an expert in Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice to assist with project compliance and continuous improvement
  4. To support the project HSQE manager in the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure that the Health & Safety and Environmental plans and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors
  5. To support the project HSQE manager in development of measurement systems to ensure that Health and Safety performance is accurately monitored
  6. To support the project HSQE manager in contributing to formal reports and reviews
  7. To support the project HSQE manager with investigations, ensuring the comprehensive gathering of supporting evidence material. Promote the company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors and other external suppliers

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation
  • Previous work experience in a Health and Safety role [preferred not essential]
  • People management experience [preferred not essential]
  • The capacity to deal sensitively with people but at the same time not avoiding issues.
  • Excellent written and oral English language

Qualifications: Degree or Masters in Health & Safety/Environmental studies
